Tap at Bistro DIPA festival. Amber color with a slight off-white head. Nice mixed hop aroma over roasted caramel. Rather thin in body. Very nice burst of floral burning hop flavor. Stands out from the DIPA pack.

Tap @ brewpub during the Strong Ale Month. Dark reddish brown color with a laced to diminished tan head. It was served a little too cold. A strong malt hopped aroma. Good rich malty flavors with some dark fruits. I really enjoyed this beer.

4oz sample in a full size tulip at brewery from the cask - Aroma and flavor are bright floral and citrus hops with a nice caramel malt finish. Pours transparent copper with a bubbly head and great lacing. Palate is crisp, tart and cask creamy. I just love really big hop monsters on cask and this did not dissapoint.

Huge monster of an Imperial this beer could easily crush Tokyo if unleashed on an unsuspecting world. massive hop nose and palate with enought malt to carry it through piny citrusy resiny hop heaven for Extreme hopheads only or it could make you believe in monsters.

Tried on tap at Magnolia pub during strong ale month. Great pub/restaurant. Great another 10%+ rating. Amber color. Medium head. Nice mild hoppy aroma. Melanoidins abound. Creamy soft head. Sweet malty. Some feet in the aroma (tap lines?).

Tried the tap version... was hoping to try the cask conditioned version - Part of the strong beer of the month Aroma: Nice citrus like hop aroma Appearance: Loverly amber color... Flavor: I seem to seek malt balance for such big beers... for an Imperial IPA newbie... I loved the malt character to support the intense hoppiness Palate: For Magnolia, I though it was too cold which may be accentuating the dry finish Overall: Amongst the Imperial IPAs tried I like this one since it has a lot of character and does not beat me down with hoppy bitterness

On tap at Magnolia. Nice bright orange color, barely off white head with good lacing. Aroma of cascade pine hops. Chewy oily mouthfeel, all hops in the taste with a lasting bitter finish. This is a take no prisoners NW hop IPA -- great if you like the style, undrinkable if you don’t. I’ll be back for more.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Nice big citrus aroma. Big grapefruit flavor with some pine and backing caramel. Long lasting grapefruit bitterness. Hides alcohol well. Very good.
