Pours with a slightly cloudy, golden amber body topped by a thick head with some lacing left on the glass. It’s grapefruity and slightly piney from the hops with a slightly sweet, malty note and very slight medicinal note. medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry. golubj (1290), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Aroma is really fresh resiny hops, quite nice, a little grassy and floral. Flavor is the same resinous and piney. These hopped up beers are great when they are fresh like this. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Rather citrus aroma with a touch of resin. Slightly hazey dark gold color with a filmy head. Medium body; mild carbonation. Starts slightly fruity malty, then wham with really strong mixed hop profile. Finishes darn bitter. Tasty. Better than many. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 27, 2007 Hazy orange. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, and some resin. Caramel toast malt backing. Moderate bitterness, fairly dry. Tastes like a real IPA but lacks an extra something to keep me interested. AleDrinker (1090), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Nice PacNW hop nose (cascade, amarillo, tropical fruits). Caramel, grapefruit, pine, citrus. Pleasant sweetness level, bitter finish yet smooth. Medium bodied, nice texture and fine-beaded carbonation. Kind of a hybrid American/Brit IPA. Good.
