Jul 21, 2008 Cask at Hamiltons. Pours with a slightly cloudy, golden amber body topped by a thick head with some lacing left on the glass. It’s grapefruity and slightly piney from the hops with a slightly sweet, malty note and very slight medicinal note. medium bodied, smooth and a touch dry.

Jul 14, 2008 Hand pump at Toronado. Amber pour with some white head. Aroma is really fresh resiny hops, quite nice, a little grassy and floral. Flavor is the same resinous and piney. These hopped up beers are great when they are fresh like this.

Jun 13, 2008 Cask @ PP Real Ale 08. Pours orange with a bright white head. Nose is a complete resin bomb. Tastes is resinny with some hops, ok if you ask me.

Apr 26, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Rather citrus aroma with a touch of resin. Slightly hazey dark gold color with a filmy head. Medium body; mild carbonation. Starts slightly fruity malty, then wham with really strong mixed hop profile. Finishes darn bitter. Tasty. Better than many.

Dec 18, 2007 Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy golden, minimal head. Hoppy peachy apricot and lychee aroma. Medium bodied with dense mouthfeel. Salty and fryuty with chewy malt and long bitter finish. A solid IPA.

Nov 27, 2007 Hazy orange. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, and some resin. Caramel toast malt backing. Moderate bitterness, fairly dry. Tastes like a real IPA but lacks an extra something to keep me interested.

Nov 10, 2007 OH YES! It’s now FRIDAY and THIS is what I’ve been craving ALL DAY LONG! Huge, BOLD, citrus aroma with lots of spice. Flavor is quite sweet but is balanced with a very POTENT bitterness. When I ask for an IPA... THIS is what I want!!!!!

Oct 15, 2007 Sampled at Magnolia, June 2007. Clear copper with a white head. Nice PacNW hop nose (cascade, amarillo, tropical fruits). Caramel, grapefruit, pine, citrus. Pleasant sweetness level, bitter finish yet smooth. Medium bodied, nice texture and fine-beaded carbonation. Kind of a hybrid American/Brit IPA. Good.
