| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 13, 2009 I was surprized that this was at the Day of the Living Ales 2009, held at Goose island Wrigleyville, Chicago. Why? Because it was definitely off, and I can’t see any brewery intentionally presenting itself this way. It had a brown body that was light enough to almost appear yellow, topped by a wispy little head. It had a strong butterscotch aroma "balanced" by an herbal bitterness. The flavor was much the same, some pine perhaps being added to the blend. I had this early on at the festival and my taste buds were still fairly alive at the time... This was just wrong. anders37 (4747), Malmö, Sweden
