duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England May 25, 2004 Tap@ Magnolia Pub and Brewery, San Fransisco. Pretty typical english mild, but even blander in this case, very thin and grainy, watery finish. Was hoping for a bit more flavour even though its a mild. acrdz (4535), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jul 16, 2004 Cask @ Magnolia. Mild cherry and wood aroma, sweet. Dark orange, almost brown in color. Very nice mellow palate, some cherry wood flavor, but with as pale starchy flavor as well. Bland, you could say. motelpogo (4334), Plzen, Czech Republic Aug 13, 2004 lightly woody aroma, slight hint of toast but otherwise quite bland, well i guess toast would count as a bland flavour anyway PorterPounder (2889), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Sep 19, 2005 On tap at the San Francisco "Brews on the Bay" Festival. Dark copper pour, off white head. Very clean aroma, whiffs of citrus. Flavor has some deleicate underlying biterness with hints of citrus and molasses. Smooth mouthfeel. Good session material. Sledge Jr (2726), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Apr 7, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. Reddish amber with a thin white head. Very earthy with a peat flavor. Very little aroma. Not much here. Watery and boring.
