AleDrinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Nov 10, 2007 Pours black with a dark-brown head (I’m excited already). Flavor is coffee and burnt malt. Just by the smell I know there is a huge quantity of black patent... My tongue drips in anticipation. Flavor is just as I expected huge burnt coffee, flavor is balanced by the full body and sweetness. I was expecting the mouthfeel to be a little silkier since they call this an OATMEAL stout but still REALLY DAMN GOOD! Odeed (1524), Bakersfield, California, USA Oct 16, 2004 damn this is good off the tap!!!!its not a "big beer" in any way,but it sure is good.very smooth and lots of body.just how i like my stouts.
