On tap @ Magnolia poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of fruitiness, carmel and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied crisp and slightly dry. Flavors of carmel, light fruitiness and a light hint of spice with a dry lightly sweet finish.

Tap @ Magnolia for Strong Ale Month 2008. Poured a lightly hazed light golden color with a white head. The aroma was sweet and malty with a light spice. Malty flavor with a mildly sweet finish. Some spice mixes into the finish as well. There was some Belgian quality but light. Medium bodied.

Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy golden, no head. Aroma of yeast, sweat and pineapple. medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Some syrup and bread, notes of grass and caramel. Almondy Belgian style yeast character combined with a solid, brash American style malt character.

Hazy golden. Aroma is pepper, alcohol, sugar, light hops. Medium bodied, too sweet despite a description of being dry. Nothing special and overly sweet.
