Cask at Volo’s ’Pre-Cask Days’ event. Pours a hazy gold with no head. Mild but nice aroma of sweet malt, light spices and floral hops. Malty flavour, slightly spicy, along with some fruitiness. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. Pretty good, I liked it.

[2551-20091028] Cask. Sweet green noodles aroma. Slightly hazy, light brown orange body with a quick bubbly head. Grainy sweet floral yeast flavour has a long sweet finish. Medium body. Nice, drinkable, quite fragrant.

2009-10-28. Golden amber body, headless. Flavour is mild, light bitterness, mild grainy malt undertones, muted citrus - feels a bit dilute overall. 6+ Aroma is similarly mild, light fruit, mild grains. Smooth average palate feels thin due to the lack of carbonation. Inoffensive, but fairly dull. Cask at Volo, Toronto

Volo English cask fest, special cask at 25 IBU. Very fresh, medium golden colour body with spider lace. Taste is a bit peculiar and funky but most drinkable, with above average mouthfeel. A mild bitterness

Cask. At Volo 2009 English Cask event. Hazy orange with a large creamy, lasting tightly foamy off-white head. (4-). Overly sweet cereal grain aroma with some floral bitterness. The taste - I kid you not - made me think of a grassy orange Creamsicle - meh. Soft, frothy mouthfeel, very lightly carbonated, with a slightly bitter floral aftertaste, but overall a little too sweet - and a bit papery.
