On a hot day in Madrid one would think a rather light beer wold be especially thirst-quenching - not Mahou. All the outdoor Cervezeria I stooped at offerd this as their only beer on tap. The pale yellow color caused me to expect a Coors or Corona-like "girlie" beer which while not satisfying to the connosieurs of the beer world it might provide relief from the unrelenting Madrid heat. After downing this dreck I felt more thirsty than when I sat down. Thank God for Sangria.

33 cL can. Pours clear yellow with a lacing white head. Light malty and cornish aroma. Flavour is cornish almost butterish with a light bitterness into the finish. Bland yet not offensive.
