Sep 23, 2005 Golden-orange in body with steady carbonation and a fizzy head that halos rather quickly, this has a bready, caramel malt aroma, quite sweet in the nose. Medium-bodied and slightly oily, it delivers a rich, sweet caramel flavor, maybe just a bit grainy. The finish is honey sweet with a touch of herbal hops emerging at the very end. Sep 6, 2005 A hazy dark orange beer with a small head. The aroma is malty with quite a lot of hops and grass, while the flavor is sweet malty with a dry hoppy end. Quite hoppy for a German bock, but nice.

Aug 29, 2005 Pours with a deep golden hazy body that briefly lifts a whitish thin head above it.
Nice rum cake malt aroma.
The flavor is a bit of a disappointment as it just doen’t deliver what was promised in the aroma. Bitter finish.

Aug 22, 2005 In the 0.5L bottle at the Huber Haus. A "blonde" bock. Pale yellow with a white head. Smells like melons! Farm Fresh! Mediciney-sweet aroma. High gravity flavor. This is about as close to a home brew as commercial beer can get. Outstanding! Sweet finish. Great honey-like overtones.
