The aroma is spicy with a lemon / malty taste. There is some sediment in this brew, mouthfeel is mild for a bock !! Overall, not bad but i was hoping for a bit more. zappafan99 (463), Ascension Island

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 17, 2008 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Nice head for a bock. Strong, but too dry and prickly in the end. Finish not really balanced. Only an average bock! weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2007 Pours a yellow medium gold, effervesence, a white head that tapers off quickly, there are floaties in this brew, lots of sediment in the
bottle, aroma of bread, malt and a honey sweetness, faint floral fragrance, honey and floral give whiffs of honeycomb cut out of the
hive, flavor of toasted malt, malt sweetness and faint bread, faint lemon and a small bite on the palate with a residue of malt sweet on the
tongue, lots of sediment in the bottle, pouring this in turned the brew sweeter and took the edge off the hop bitterness,
has a medium to full mouth feel, this is a very tasty, I was surprised at how much chunky sediment was at the bottom of the bottle
reminded me of a pouring a bottle of Abbaye des Rocs. DuffMan (2785), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada

Bready palate as well; I’m not getting any spiciness at all here, although freshness my be an issue. Pretty dull really. downender (2644), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
