| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Bottle: Pours a cloudy orange/golden color with a fluffy white head that lingers. Quite a malty and roasted aroma for such a translucent brew, somewhat nutty, a bit of smoke and actually really nice. Taste is somewhat grainy, quite malty, caramel notes, yeast, and some nutty undertone. Palate is sticky, carbonated and lightly bitter. Long lasting aftertaste which I like. Overall, a very well crafted Bock in my opinion. Cheers!! doublebock (197), USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Malty, yeasty aroma, smells like its fresh out of the brewery. Very Flat palate.Appearance is simiilar to hefeweizen. May be constured as unappealing as their are heavy yeast deposits with hundreds greys specks floating in the glass. My personal opinion is that appearance should count for very little and its emphasized here since the taste is so pleasing. F
Taste is sweet and malty -honey flavor with a mild bitter spice at the end. Reminds me of a Paulaner Salvatory. Gmoney (258), ManchVegas, New Hampshire, USA
