Sep 6, 2005 A hazy dark orange beer with a small head. The aroma is malty with quite a lot of hops and grass, while the flavor is sweet malty with a dry hoppy end. Quite hoppy for a German bock, but nice.

Jul 31, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Hazy pilsener golden, almost absent head. Sweetish, malty nose. Flavour with lots of sweet malt and alcohol. Hint of hops in the finish. Incredibly solid Bock, with an unusual looks for it’s type - unless this is supposed to be a light Bock? 280705

Feb 18, 2009 From tap at Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is sweet, breadish and solid caramel malty. Flavour starts sweet, followed with a good body and mouthfeel and a solid bitterness from a good balance of hops joining in. Sweet and mild spiced finish with a slowly building bitterness. Tasty.

Feb 14, 2005 Draught at Hagges Bärsklubb, Nynäshamn, Sweden. Golden colour, rich head. Light buttery malt aroma. Fairly sweet, rich and softly malty containing hoppiness that accelerates towards a very bitter finish. A well balanced very enjoyable traditional bock.

Nov 3, 2007 Wooden Cask gravity @ brewery tap, Mahrs Bräu, Bamberg, Germany. Clear medium orange / yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, citrus, lime, toffee, pepper spicy, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. (Very nice balanced). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. ;o)) (191007)

May 22, 2007 Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, caramel and some spices. Flavour is raisiny alcohol mixed with some spices and bigtime malts. A very pleasant bock!
