Commercial Description:
Weisse Bock is an increasingly popular style that is strong and very tasty – with all of the fruity, spicy flavors one expects from a wheat beer, and more – but never too heavy on the palate. This rich, dark, and enthralling Bock is refreshing and drinks so easily that one would never suspect that it weighs in at 7.2% a.b.v. If you appreciate Aventinus, try Der Weisse Bock.

Pours a turbid dark copper/brown with a two finger creamy yellow tan head. The nose is rusty, shows some caramel, alcohol, spicy phenols. Flavor shows alcohol, spicy notes, sweet malt, some oxidation.

Bottle, shared by Ethan. Thanks bud. Weird, slightly pootzy aroma. Chestnut brown with a small sudsy off white head. Second and third sniffs reveal some cocoa, nuttiness, raisins, and mrs. P00tz’s dirty underpants.

500 ML Bottle in USA, A good Weizen Bock but not to the same standards as Adventinus. Looks not like a beer but a tall blond lady in a long black dress. More of a Bock and less of a Weizen. But still a great beer.

500ml bottle. Pours dark brown, cola colored. Rich malt aroma. Latin malta, caramelized malts, dark wheat, molasses, raisins, and cognac esters. Rich roasted grains, chocolate malts, big juicy raisins. Rich malt flavors. Overall, the character is similar to Schneider Adventinus. Bold and rich.

Cloudy brown with a lasting off-white head. Banana and clove aroma. Sweetish clove-dominated flavour

Bottle. Deep brown pour with aromas of rasins, plum, other dark fruits. Taste was very similar to the aroma. Loads of dried fruits, some caramel sweetness, raisiny sweet. No aventinus but still pretty good

Thanks to Todd for this. Clear brown pour with a fizzy tan head. No lace. Cognac and raisin on the nose. Roast, nuts, coffee and cream. Many similarities to Aventinus, just a little toned down.
