| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 9, 2005 Massively fruity style with heavy rhubarb and sour overtones. Disappointingly no real palate weight in the middle and back. Fairly fizzy, and I would even go so far as to say dilute. No sure how well it works off the tap. Unique flavour profile nevertheless. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 8, 2005 Cloudy reddish-brown color with a huge thick off white head that leaves a sticky lacing in my Aventinus glass. Fruity and spicy aromas of bananas, cloves and vanilla. Wheat flavor with sour apples, vanilla and bubblegum. Full bodied with a prickly carbonated mouthfeel, finishes sweet and sour. Alcohol very well hidden, very nice. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 12, 2005 Pours dark brown from the old pint bottle. The aroma is pretty good with caramel malts, plum, raisin and banana. Kind of like the Westy 8 but much weaker. The taste I really did not like because the wheat was not present. The raisin was alright, but not complimented with anything else. Worth a try, but my least favorite Weizen Bock so far. It seemed more like a watery Doppelbock. rudolf (1787), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2005 Dark cola brown with big tan foam on top. Drippy whimpy lacing with only a few strings grabbing to the glass. A fairly thick skim lasts nearly the whole glass.
Aroma is of those frozen chocolate covered bananas at first but seemingly doesn’t last as more of a canned grape/orange soda pop comes through as it sits. Still keeps some of its cocoa underneath though, which helps it stay from getting overly sweet on the nose.
Unfortunately the taste brings in much more of the soda flavors then what the smell eludes to. Tangy, quickly dryish, wine-like spritzer mixed with cola sweetness is a bit strange to the taste buds. Cocoa dryness continuely gets beat out by the soda flavors and some metalic tones also make a pretty big entrance on the palate. This is what you get if you mix grape soda with a white wine spritzer that went under a powdered chocolate milk mix machines’ can maker.
Feel is leaning towards a medium body, tangy, quickly whiped away by grapey dryness and is a tad high on the carbonation scale.
Too much soda stuff going on here for any real enjoyment on my level. Not something I’d seek out again or recommend. Hunsell (400), Amsterdam, Netherlands
