| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Courtesy of this porter dude I know. Pours deep clear amber with thin dark tan head. Initially as the cap was removed it smelled like dark grape candy. Upon further inspection from the glass I get a nice load of rich grape jam with layers of prunes, dates, earthiness and faint caramel and malts. Smells yum. The taste is yum too. I get concord grapes mixing with ripe cherries, candied red apple and dried cranberries. Rciesla (3719), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
