May 30, 2008 Bottle shared courtesy of weeare138. Poured a medium reddish brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of burnt banana chips, toasted caramel, and clove. Tastes of banans, spices, and some wheat. Some what sweet.

May 29, 2008 Thanks to weeare138 for sharing this. Pours a deeper brownish amber with a bubbly off white head that went away to nothing. Aroma of some banana and clove, toasted malt, caramel and some molasses. Flavor of the same toasted malt, some molasses and light banana and clove.

May 22, 2008 Bottle: Hazy, deep amber coloured - as expected for a WHITE Bock - , small and stable off-white foamy layer, lively carbonation; moderate, but complex nose: caramalt, toasted malt, wheat, dried fruits combined with light sourish undertones; solid sweet flavour, a sourish tinge detectable, medium bodied; sweet fruity (raisins) finish with traces of wheat and caramel. Good stuff.........

May 8, 2008 ...well, a very dark and complex combination of two great styles of beer. Head was not lasting, faded quickly, very dark reddish brown color with a slightly overpowering alcohol aftertaste, but not too harsh. Lots of the good sediment that must be present for the real wheat experience. Nice spicy notes, dark wheat malts with roasted flavors very abundant. Slight dark fruit adds to the complexity, with a slightly sharp finish, but overall a good beer, I would try it again, just maybe get a fresher bottle.

May 6, 2008 Very dark red-brown (deep mahogany). Spicey raisin pie and cooked banana, chocolate, creamy mouthfeel. Absolutely excellent!

Apr 21, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at Quinns.
Very dark muddy brown with a good white head. Aroma of chocolate malt with a delicate farmy sourness and some excellent toffee notes. A really good smell. Slightly estery flavour. Great chocolate and a faint bitterness that balances it out really well. Lovely hit of wheat leading to a bittersweet finish. Thick and chewy yet very clean mouthfeel. A great example of the style and where the hell is the alcohol? Drinks well below its strength. It feels more like 5 than 7.2 Jolly good stuff.

Apr 10, 2008 Bottle. Unclear medium brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (200308)
