Commercial Description:
Weisse Bock is an increasingly popular style that is strong and very tasty – with all of the fruity, spicy flavors one expects from a wheat beer, and more – but never too heavy on the palate. This rich, dark, and enthralling Bock is refreshing and drinks so easily that one would never suspect that it weighs in at 7.2% a.b.v. If you appreciate Aventinus, try Der Weisse Bock.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of metal, over ripe fruits, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices, leading to a dry bitter and metallic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a very cloudy orangey brown with a beige head. Lots of banana and yeast in the nose. Medium body with notes of banana, yeast and fruit with an underlying acidity - a little too distinct acidity. 130608

50 cL bottle. Pours murky and dark brown with a lacing tan head. Alcohol dense malt aroma. Flavour is classic bock with a roasted malt note: alcohol dense and light spiced. Ends mild spiced and light bitter finish.

Bottled. Cloudy dark brown. Rich aroma of banana and pineapple.Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Surprisingly dry and drinkable for a weizenbock, some grassy hops shine through the banana. Very well balanced.
