Hazy orange-bronze color with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma is somewhat weak, but it does have notes of clove and banana. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of clove, that at first are subdued, but they develop and in the finish, it’s a rather dominant note. There also are weak notes of caramel and banana. The overall impression is a bit too thin.

(bottle) Cloudy, deep orange to amber colour with a thick off-white foamy head, leaving lace-work. Sweet and moderately yeasty wheat-malt aroma with orange-fruity notes and a touch of banana. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft and mellow mouthfeel. Slightly yeasty and moderately wheaty taste with a distinctive orange fruitiness, accompanied by a touch of banana; medium-dry, moderately sweet and slightly tart fruity finish with a light spicy touch. Pleasant Hefeweizen (12.02.08).

Aroma of wheat and yeast. Cloudy, brown-orange coloured with a thin, white head. Taste is sweet with some sour citrus, yeast and wheats. Quite carbonated. Fresh palate.

Hazy, light colour, white head. Sour aroma. Lots of carbonation, which makes it not too smooth. Leaves a sparkling velum.

Bottle 0,5ltr at Torschuster, Bamberg: Orange hazy coloured Hefeweizen, with some spicy, citric and banana taste, one of the better ones.

Cloudy yellow color, medium head. Aroma of banana, some sour citrus, wheat, quite sweet. Quite carbonating. Sparkling taste. Bit sweet, some sourness. Not the best hefeweizen.

Draught. Did not see it poured but head seems low though lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow. Distinct banana aroma. Flavor is banana, very fresh because of a nice shot of carbonation. Long sweet banana aftertaste.

330. Pours a beautiful hazy medium amber with ruby highlights and a dense, sudsy white head. Perfect banana essence on the nose, though not much else there to keep it company. Mild attack; light body and light carb and not too much happening in the way of flavor--a little banana of course, there seems to be a note of white sugar, and a little bit of caramel/butterscotch stuff going on. This would make an excellent training wheels beer for trepidatious newbies who tag along at your next tasting, but face it: you got over beers like this one a long time ago.
