[Draft at GBBF 2005] An unclear dark orange beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet wheaty, while the flavor is a mixture of sweet and sour with strong notes of malted wheat and citrus, as well as lesser notes of bananas.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a tal, handsome and very stable, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast and banana. Medium body, sweetish malty notes with flavours of yeast and caramel. Dry - but not bitter - finish. A very decent Hefe. 071106

@ the Brewery. Deep amber color, hazy, egg-shell coloured foamy head; fruity, yeasty nose. Sweet-tart-fruity flavour, medium to full bodied, creamy mouthfeel; short, tart, fruity finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Mild spicy and fruity aroma. Cloudy dark amber colour. Small stable white head. The flavour has some banana, OK citrus to balance. Just the right amount of sweetness.

Very highly carbonated. Tan, opaque. Lots of foam. Heavy banana and very sweet. Quite rich, somewhat bubblegummy. Overly sweet and unbalanced - tastes more American than Franconian.

Hazy orange-bronze color with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma is somewhat weak, but it does have notes of clove and banana. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of clove, that at first are subdued, but they develop and in the finish, it’s a rather dominant note. There also are weak notes of caramel and banana. The overall impression is a bit too thin.
