Bottled (BB 06/2009). Courtesy of oh6gdx, tnx.
Golden color, small white head. Grains, honey, wet paper or wood in the nose. Front is sweetish malty, then a bit grainy and woody hoppy with light lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Solid malty background. Decent example of this style.

From cask at In de Wildeman. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of grassy hops and grainy malts. Flavour is malty, some sweet, bread, bit of grain, bitter bit grainiy finish. Light to medium bodied.

Transparent gold, thin white head. Grainy, grassy aroma. Flavor is crisp, light citrus, very grainy, some dough through the finish, minor bitterness. Slightly sticky body. Pretty plain and unexciting, but there are some hooks here.

Barrel Draught at the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 09/08/2008 Hoppy aroma. Some carbonation. Golden coloured and hoppy with a little dryness in a crisp and creamy malt finish.

Draft. Clear golden with thick foamy stable white head. Fresh grain aroma is naturally grassy with big chrysanthemum flower character. Sweet, silky palate. Mild carbonation. Flavors are chrysanthemum, grassy-dry-floral. Ends with some sweetness but is mainly dry.

50cl bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear yellow with a small egg white foam. Grainy, grassy and dry. A bit of harsh Dortmunder like feel. Grainy and rough around the edges. Some sweet buiscuit like malts in the end. Fine.

Bottle at Novare. I was expecting a bit more out of this after enjoying their light so much. This hyper carbonated monster, wasn’t so good. Grassy, light malt, but a little astringent in the aroma and flavor. I’ve come to expect much better Helles beers from the franconian area of Germany.

25 oz. bottle. Poured slightly hazy gold. Zero head retention with mild carbonation. Funky, musty nose. Sweet corn cereal flavor with a dry finish. Pretty damn bad.
