Creamy maltiness, yet strikingly dry. Chewy and very soft with long grassy, biter finish. Excellently suitable for mass consumption in a shady biergarten. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

Clear yellow with a nice rising dough aroma. Flavor is a delicate balance between the sweet grains and German hops. This beer is pretty underrated. wastl (113), Germany

Malty and hoppy aroma. Begins sweetly, gets increasingly bitter. Earthy notes. Finish of average duration. Good. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 8, 2004 Deep golden hue. Small quickly dissipating white head. Dough yeast, citrus, grassy nose. Clean pale malts. A hybrid of the pils and "U". A very quaffable. Great texture. Pleasant balance. Superb grainy malts, light to medium bodied, finising with forceful, yet delicately placed hops. A very nice Helles in my humble opinion. Radek Kliber (3962), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

I say yes . Medium deep gold a la sand on the Baltic sea . Light but not watery , very drinkable . Along the way you will notice mild hops and sweet with softening effect malt. Water used also plays crucial role here. Very soft , smooth brew . Pleasant Hell . Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2005 Hazed dark straw color with a tall fluffy light cream colored head. Fluffy lace on the side. Buttered biscuits with grass and mild floral hops aromas. Silky smooth with only a light carbonation. Really smooth. Mild malt and vanilla flavors. A touch sweet at times, but then the hops comes back in and restore balance. Dry and mildly bitter finish. Certainly a session type brew.
