Aug 29, 2007 Orange colored, medium sized yellow head. Slightly hazy appearance. Papery, yeasty, still some toffee in aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more interesting with this caramelly-toffee and lemony hops, nice crispy carbonation in palate. Best "ungespundet" I had on my stay in Bamberg. Aftertaste still has toffee and caramel in good balance with bitter hops.

Aug 4, 2007 Updated: Nov 17, 2007Bottle. Amber with a moderate off-white head. Medium carbonation. Balanced aroma of caramel, hay and grassy hops. Easy drinking with a sweet malty flavour and dry finish. Good.

Jul 21, 2007 On tap. Aroma of grassy hops and some caramel malts. Clear, amber coloured with an off-white, thin lace. Taste is a bit sweet, somewhat bitter with an herbal/pine/vegetable touch. Bit carbonated. The beer has a slightly sour background.
