Pours a murky, medium golden-orange with decent-sized pillowy white head that leaves a fair amount of lacing. Aroma has some wort-like qualities to it, with a wee bit of corn thrown in there. Malty flavor, with some grassy notes and an underlying bed of molasses and trailing ripening vegetables. Mouthfeel is a bit on the spritzy side. Still trying to figure out this style. Decent. A relatively lighterherbal grassy beer that actually followed a heavy Unibroue well and satisfied. Good hops and bitter finish for appetizers in meal. pivnizub (5086), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 11, 2005 Bottled. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a nice large white head on first pouring. The aroma is slightly fruity with a bit of banana and lemon. The taste is quite harsh malts and a bit of grassiness. Quite dry and no noticeable real hop character. Not as good as I’d hoped. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Cloudy golden with a thick white head. Very creamy. Aroma had lemon, citrus, grain and grass. The taste had those same aspects with a touch of white wine. Very creamy mouthfeel. Buttery as some one else mentioned. Well put. This beer was a pleasant surprise. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2005 I sure would like a super fresh bottle of this beer so I could compare and aspects that might have changed…. I would suspect that this bottle, being bottled on: 03/02/04 will be less hoppy and show more malt character.
This brew poured a hazy copper body with a FAT white rocky head… lacing hangs everywhere. The aroma is lightly sweet with a note of honey… it’s grassy hops add a light lemon reference. The flavor is rather similar… damp fresh cut grass, note of caramel, evenly and lightly malted…. Sweet then Bitter….. this Truly is nice! The palate is buttery… yet finishes crisp and tart…. I expect I would worship this on draft! jasonp (1513), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2005 Cloudy golden with a thick, fluffy white head. Aroma of grain, grass, dough and a touch of salami, yes I smell salami. Flavor has notes of tart fruitiness, lemon/citrus, grain and hay. Moderately sweet, a touch of sour and a solid dose of bitter hops in the finish. Medium-full body body with the perfect level of carbonation. Lacing hangs on the glass in thick sheets, great head retention. I enjoyed this one.
