Pours a pretty light amber. Aroma is bready, biscuity, and a little sweet. Flavor is a sting of dingy hops and wet dogs...really weird. Almost cardboardy flavor. Not my favorite Mahr’s beer. Magicdave6 (5559), London, Greater London, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Bottle from the Bon accord, Glasgow. Aroma is bitter and yeasty, some bready sliughtly grainy notes. Taste is similar, pale malt is clear but the bitter yeast character dominates. Decent unfiltered german lager. Earlier Rating: 4/29/2006 Total Score: 3 Aroma gives dough and floural hops. Taste is similar a bit thin maybe, a bit unrefined maybe also wheat comin in at times. A different and unusual beer, something worth trying but maybe not for me. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2008 I notice the suspended sediment right away and it is more concentrated in the center of the glass with an orange hue and dissipates to the sides and the bottom where the color becomes yellow. Clean, doughy aroma. More dough, in fact that’s really tasty. It isn’t for a while that i get the floral hop finish. Ends a bit metallic. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal
