And also not a typical German pilsener. This one gets better as you drink it. Not my favorite but not bad. Prostman (1077), Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2007 Golden, hazy wheat with a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of fruit and more hops than the average weiss. The flavour is fruity with a lot of banana, light sweetness and hops, that give a good bitterness. Atypical from the average weiss, but nice.... 1586 wastl (113), Germany

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Cloudy copper body, lots of lacing. Aroma of noble hob, floral and slightly sweet, honey and sweetcorn, freshly mowed grass. After a while, vanilla and caramel emerge. Taste starts out bone-dry, very grassy and hoppy, then some vanilla sweetness in the middle, finishes clean and hoppy. Not too exciting, pretty good though. exadore (92), Sacramento, California, USA

Body is a golden bronze color, almost looks like a Belgium beer. Upon tasting, discovered that this is a very well balanced lager. I didn’t noticed the smokey flavor some reviewers described. Clear, crisp, dry finish.
