Aroma of some honey, some pine, maybe a little bread and a light trace of skunk. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth, dryish, pretty hefty for the style. Broken, patchy lacing. Flavor is mild honeyish malt with a bit of sourdough bread and a light piney bitter bite overlaying. Nothing great but a pretty good example of the style - no surprises. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Bottle from Bon accord. Aroma is a nice grassy pale malt pilsner, hints of peppery spice too. Taste though has pale malts with this annoying bitterness, metallic flavour really bothers me. Would be a great beer without that. wastl (113), Germany

I found this idea very true until my friend and I participated in a blnd tasting....we love this pilsner - subtle spiciness, grass, and a refreshment that beers of this style are supposed to give your palate. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also dominated by this skunky touch, mild cardboard and lemony tones also here. Lemony fruits in cleaner and drying aftertaste.
