| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 14, 2005 light aroma with a very foamy, white head. Pale gold color with lots of yeast sediment, distinctly lemony flavor (I didn’t add any lemon), but not a lot of weisse beer flavor, not a lot of body or finish. Got it at the Bodega in a bottle, downtown La Crosse. beeryum (652), Norcross, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 11, 2005 Bottle. Cloudy pour, with very visible precipitate (and I was not pouring the dregs). Banana aromas, but not much else. More banana flavor, lacking in cloves and yeast flavors. Thin. aracauna (2422), Georgia, USA

Thin, watery, low good banana/bubblegum esters and low clove, but this weird hardcandy quality that I don’t like. beerhugger (541), Oshawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 2, 2005 Yeah OK it had the requisite elements: rich golden colour with bir white head; bready, banana, cloves; yeast and sweetly banana malty flavours; refreshing hints of citrus perhaps. Still, it semed a little low key in each area and not complex enough to be a true work of art. What it was though was a pleasant summer beer. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Small head that faded fast. Strong banana and sweet bread notes. Very tasty. Somewhat less complex overall than many wheat beers. The flavor while, very good, is one dimensional. Still tasty. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 19, 2005 Poured a cloudy yellow with medium flotsam and an average head. Big banana aroma. Tart and active on the palate, but subtlely flavored ... fruit basket/banana, little yeasty muskiness ... nice light weizen.
