| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2004 This poured a pale yellow color with a large foamy head... which didn’t last long. The aroma is mildly sweet and grassy with banana and vanilla scents. There’s some very lively carbonation here. The taste is nothing special, sweet banana with a slightly tart finish. This would probably be better in the summer. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 29, 2004 Head is at first very large, white, foamy, but diminishes to nothing within a minute. Nothing particularly appealing in the nose, banana/pineapple juice, yeasty. Tastes like banana bread, rather sweet. Quite empty besides that. Carbonation initially consists of fine tiny bubbles biting the tongue, but after a few minutes, there’s not much of it left. Average at best. Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2004 Bottle - 500ml, Best before 17/08/2004. Nice cloudy golden color. Its white frothy head unfortunately diminishes quickly. Pleasant yeasty aroma with strong citrusy hints. Taste is disappointing. After a bitter and carbonated attack, it gets milder and unidimensional. Overall, this is a drinkable Hefeweizen, but plenty of better products are easily findable. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Nov 6, 2004 Updated: Aug 15, 2007I have never encountered this company before, but being a wheat beer fiend I jumped at the opportunity to try this one. I should not have bothered. I do not know if perhaps I got a bad bottle but this is one of the worst hefeweizens I have had the misfortune to encounter. Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy amber color with a small yellow-white head. There was a wheaty aroma with some vegetal elements. The flavor was sour and vegetal. There was not much noticeable wheat in the flavor. I was very disappointed. shrubber85 (3011), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Bottle. Sweet banana/apricot aroma. Lightly cloudy medium yellow color. Pretty sweet flavor - fruit flavor is subtle. Moderate body. A bit too sweet without enough fruity or spicy character. Not a bad beer but there are many others that are better. piscator34 (1134), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2004 Hazy and blonde with a good amount of carbonation. Aromas are bready with some mild banana notes. Fairly yeasty flavor, with some grain and spice hints. Not a bad hefe. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 18, 2004 dull lemon colour and quick bleach head. Spicy and fruity aroma of banana and nutmeg. Taste is flat and carbonated with lot of malt and herbal floral hops. It’s a decent tropical wheat that’d be much better if it wasn’t so bland finishing. DaSilky1 (2031), San Diego, California, USA
