Smells like smokey hot dogs - tomato ketchup, onions, Duff’s barber shop, sauerkraut, mild spices. Tastes like plastic and solvent and pear drops. I don’t really like wheat beers, and I don’t like bottled beers, so this was destined to be slammed by me. But, actually, it’s not bad. TipsyMcStager (928), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 4, 2004 Sour aroma with spices and banana. Appearance is weak for a hefe, very pale and not too cloudy. Unoffensive but not on the higher end of the scale. Lacks acids in the finish and the spiciness doesn’t follow through from the aroma. Wouldn’t be bad on a hot summer day. pintbypint (1008), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2004 Sampled from 500ml brown bottle. Spicy clove and wheat aroma. Poured cloudy pale yellow. Large white head. Crisp wheaty, grainy flavour, finishes sweeter with banana notes then hop, then a little yeastiness. beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 24, 2004 Good carbonation and head, fairly yeasty with the expected flavours of clove/banana/bubblegum, although this was a bit thin and the hop presence didn’t work. Guess I’m not a huge weisse guy, but for the style this is quite competent and pleasant. Wheatsheaf (104), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2004 500ml bottle. Cloudy yellow under a large, foamy, white head that collapses but doesn’t disappear. Green banana aroma with some bubblegum and yeast notes. Light-to-medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavour has a banana-like fruitiness alongside bready malts, a wheaty and grainy character, some light acidity, and some tangy, spicy yeastiness. Pretty straightforward. Would probably take a chilling without losing any character. Sammy (4024), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
