Original Rating (7-4-7-4-15=3.7): Wheat and banana dominate the aroma with notes of cloves and very light bubblegum like fusels. Hazy straw coloured with good visible carbonation and large fluffy white head that recedes to a decent cover. Flavours of wheat, dough, banana lemon mix together very well. Excellent smooth creamy wheat beer mouthfeel with medium body. I have to say this one is very under-rated. I am enjoying it very much. Bottle. Thanks CapFlu.
Rerate (6-2-7-3-13=3.1): Banana cream, perfumey and lightly spiced aroma. Cloudy, opaque straw coloured body is topped by low white head that diminishes to ring. Creamy wheat, banana and light clove character in the mouth. Medium body with moderately crisp carbonation. Sampled at GBBF 2005.
I guess this one is pretty variable in quality... average score posted.

Cloudy gold-yellow. Pours w/ a big, fluffy white head which didn’t last. Yeasty, banana aroma w/ lemon, grapefruit & clove in the background. Soft, creamy texture. Banana cream flavour w/ lemon & clove. Moderately bitter w/ a herbal, somewhat medicinal finish.

Pours a cloudy honey color with a frothy sticky white cap. Lovely streams of small bubbles of natural carbonation. Aromas that seem standard for a German hefe-Weizen...banana prevalent..spices; nutmeg and some clove over a semi sweet malt tone. Starts with a great peppery carbonated hit to the tongue then this melts to an oily-silk mouth feel punctuated with ample sweet malts and the spice delivery of the yeast...hopsand wheat are there at the finish to provide a clean refreshing dry finish filled with banana =bubblegum phenols..there is nothing lacking in this Hefeweizen that could stands it off from the best...to me (a rank amateur) it seems to be a mellow-aged presence that exists in the best German Hefeweizens.

Hazy pale yellow body. Massive fluffy white head. Aroma is rather mellow and does not give up a lot but includes some lightly sweet citrus, and a bit of yeasty spice. Flavour is reflective of the aroma, with slightly sweet banana and citrus way about it. The flavours the emerge are all quite subtle and make this a very easy to drink but not superbly flavourful weisse. Palate is light and ephemeral, not quite as chewy as I like my wheat beers but very pleasant. This one is underrated but while it is not one of the best wheat beers, you can do a lot worse.

Hazy yellow in colour. Aroma was of lemons, wheat, spice and yeast. Flavour had lots of citrus - mainly lemons but some oranges as well, some banana and pineapple. Medium body, quite spicy, high carbonation. Finishes creamy, bananas and quite long. Not to bad.

This one’s a big softy - the palate, that is; almost like foamy soapy water. Soft enough to almost be a bad trait. Nice cloudy body, huge fluffy head and o.k. lacing. Taste is sweet citrus lemons, lightly acidic at some points. Clove in the aroma - nice, but not much else there. Not a bad weisse

Cloudy pineapple colour with a fizzy white head. The aroma is primarilly citrus with hints of orange. A few banana notes seep into the nose with just a hint of yeast rounding things off. The body is lightly spritzed with a touch of malt sweetness and some citrus fruit as well. A fairly straight forward weisse, a quality example.
