50cl bottle from Knightly Spirits (Orlando, FL). Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a one finger bright white foamy head that settles quickly. Aroma is wheaty and nutty with some spice and citrus as well. Flavor is bready and wheaty with a fairly significant citrusy flavor that takes over in the middle and is present through finish. Some fruity and grain notes as well. Generally light bodied with a slightly sweet, tangy finish.

Draft - Pale golden very hazy body, huge fine white head; Huge very apparent weizen nose, tons of clove almost blowing you away from the glass, some grapefruit peel as well; Very soft texture and carbonation in body, quite fruity acid, salty, somehow like it wants to get away from you; Long finish with lots of aroma, menthol and clove are competing with a yeasty dryness. Somehow this beer is like anesthetic to your mouth, Strange!

1pint 9 fl oz brown bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a very cloudy opaque yellow body with a half inch of off-white head. Smells citrussy with banana notes. Tastes lemony with a fair bit of spice, nut, banana. Medium bodied with restrained carbonation. Tasty and complex for sure, but not the most drinkable example of the style. A good hef, but at over 6$ per bottle, this will probably be an occasional treat.

Bottle from BevMo. Hazy light golden in color with moderate foam. Slightly sweet yeasty aroma, with a hint of tartness. Fairly grainy. Lightly yeasty flavoring, heavy on the graininess.

(6/31/08) Draught at the brewpub in Bamberg. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of wheat, quite a bit of spices, some fruity esters and notes of citrus. Sweetish fruity flavor with some banana and some spicy notes. Medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle from BevMo. It tried to climb out of the bottle, but I beat it back down - actually took a quick swig. Light hazy gold color with a huge white head. Aromas of wheat, banana, coriander and clove. Lot of clove. Near medium body with coarsely creamy carbonation. Flavor is wheat and clove. Don’t know what happened to the banana. Finish is clove with a hint of citrus. Drinks damn fine.

Pours a slightly cloudy light golden color with a small white head. Light aroma of wheat, banana, some fruit. Thin, easy drinking. Not a lot to it, boring.
