This Hefeweizen pours a light gold color from a 50cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, nice retention and good lacing. Aroma is wheaty and citrusy. Medium to light bodied Hefeweizen. The malts are wheaty, citrusy. The hops are spicy and herbal. Kind of a mild fizzy hefe. Very lively carbonation. A touch of banana, but mostly citrusy. A touch watery, but drinkable. I kind of like they carbonation and the citrusy aspects. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is citrusy and slightly bitter.

On tap at Wildeman. Yellow colour with tall head. Corny nose. Taste is watery, sweet, citrusy. Some hints of marsepijn, also banana and wheat. Malty too. A nice beer.

A nice German hefe. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Pour was average. Cloudy and murky gold with a 1 finger white head. Hefes usually have a bigger head than this. Taste was slightly better than average. A little too heavy for a wheat beer with a thicker than usual mouthfeel. Banana and wheat all the way in the taste. Good.

Clear gold. Small white head fades completely. Aroma of grainy wheat and light colored fruits. Sanme flavor with some tanginess. Medium body, balanced carbonation. Drinkable, but not very interesting.

Straw yellow to copper golden in color with a big white head. Nose of wheat, bananas, and earthiness. Dry and citrusy with yeasty bite that lingers. Very nice beer.

bready malt aroma with light sweet banana, big body for a wheat, nice sweet banana flavor, light banancing clove, picking up a much richer bready malt profile in both the flavor and aroma,

Light yellow colored, cloudy appearance. Little white head. Rich banana in aroma with lemon and obvious yeast. Medium bodied. Flavor is also rich, this light appearance distracts. Banana and yeast dominate with spices, nice balance, still misses some carbonation.
