1pint 9 fl oz brown bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a very cloudy opaque yellow body with a half inch of off-white head. Smells citrussy with banana notes. Tastes lemony with a fair bit of spice, nut, banana. Medium bodied with restrained carbonation. Tasty and complex for sure, but not the most drinkable example of the style. A good hef, but at over 6$ per bottle, this will probably be an occasional treat.

Dec 25, 2008 Hazy golden with a large white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with quite dominant banana notes. Flavour likewise with a sweet yeasty finish.

Dec 22, 2008 500 ml bottle, pours straw with cushiony white head and steady bubbling. Lemony aroma. Flavor is a tad subtle bubble gum, clove and more banana. Body is a bit thin and feel on the tongue is not nearly what all the bubbles would make you anticipate.

Oct 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a fizzy white head that dissipated quickly. Nose of lemon peel, banana, yeast and bread. Flavor was lightly sweet with some citrus and yeast.

Decent Hefeweizen, a bit monotonous and sweet....
