DA (2472), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Sep 1, 2008 On tap at the PDX Green Dragon. Nice tripel, light bodied, and very dry. Lacked a bit of sweetness up front, that made the body feel very dry, almost champagne like quality. Estery nose, light citrus and soft clove character. Angeloregon (2002), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 20, 2008 Glass enjoyed on tap at Green Dragon’s meet the brewer night in PDX--Poured a hazy bright golden-orange hue with a wispy rich whitish head. Sweet, floral, yeasty, phenolic, bright, American, Belgian. Clean, flavorful easy drinking with a well-masked alcohol profile. Nice beer! jimhilt (1427), Bow, New Hampshire, USA Dec 16, 2007 Pours with a hint of a white head that leaves no good lace. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Crystal clear amber color. Nose is slightly malty. Flavor is malty and spicy sweet with hints of hops at finish. $4.00 for a 16oz glass on tap at Main Street Ale House Gresham, OR. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 12, 2005 Amber with a small head and lace. Aromas of yeast and dough. Coriander and cloves. Damn good. Some biscuits. Fruity as well. Awesome citrus and yeast flavors with sour dough. Spices a plenty. A little hot, but damn good. BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Main Street Ale House, Gresham Clear bronze color, light head, small lacing, very low carbonation for what I’m used to in the style. The nose is fruity with melon and nice yeast esters. The flavor is nicely tart, sweet and again, seems lacking the bubbly carbonation. This is a nice tripel with conservative hopping rates for a PNW beer.
