Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 25, 2008 Hazy light amber. Bright florals and a minty hop nose. Rich bitterness. Toasty, breadcrusty malt and more bright hop notes - pine and tropical fruit. Vac (2287), San Diego, California, USA Sep 25, 2004 This IPA pours with a golden -orange body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet yet mostly bitter and grapefruity with a little grassiness. Medium bodied, smooth and slightly dry. DuffMan (2194), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 31, 2008 GABF 2008. Bronze medal winner this year. Hazy orange amber. Terrific ballance of caramel malt with a hint of burnt sugar, married to lively passionfruit and citrus hoppiness. Juicy and refreshing, nice bitter finish. BeerLimey (1875), California, USA Aug 8, 2002 Restrained IPA in comparison to other west coast versions but it’s also nice to find a slight change.
