argo0 (6332), Washington DC, USA Jul 24, 2004 (RBSG04) Lightly hazed golden body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, honey. Taste is medium sweet, honey, fruity, light herbal. Light-medium body. Quite drinkable. BückDich (4618), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 9, 2004 Yellow color, very pale with a little head & no lacing. The aroma has just a touch of crispy hops and light sweet notes with malt. The flavor is a bit strong with more sweetness and a semi-harsh bite of alcohol (~120 grit). Finishes medium bodied. Jesus! 9%? This beer is a great magician. acrdz (4535), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 14, 2004 Slightly murky yellow. Wine and honey flavors, a decent bite of scotch and malts, a very decent offering. beerguy101 (3608), Newark, California, USA Jul 31, 2004 Light orange gold color. Aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet (Golden Promise). Hops are slightly spicy (Fugels). Nice balance. Smooth taste. Interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Mar 13, 2006 Enjoyable, with some very nice orange citric truitiness, that is like biting into a fresh tangerine and sucking on the rind. A great hop profile, that turns slightly smokey, with some muted woodiness and some sweet honey and just a hint of vanilla smokiness. A surprisingly decent beer.
