(bottle) pours a clear, pale golden colour with a frothy white head. very subtle and surprising aroma of floral hops, yeast, banana, caramel and grainy pale malts. flavour is clean, with solid grainy pale malts and a yeasty bread and lightly bitter herbal hop finish. light to medium carbonation and body.

<i>Draught in Veilbronn. </i> Clear golden, small head. Buttery nose with some diacetyl. Medium sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Notes of grass, but generally lacking in hops. Medium bitterness. The lagerbiers from Maisel seem all to be sub par by Bamberg standards.

From Tap in Maisel Keller Bamberg. Golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of flower, malt and caramel. The flavour has some nice and smooth caramel, malt, grass, grapefruit and other citrus fruits and a refreshing bitterness. It’s a nice pilsner.
