| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 23, 2008 500ml bottle. Golden-amber color. Noteworthy lack of carbonation hiss upon opening the bottle. The beer poured with a hyper-minimal head as well. The taste is mildly and enjoyably malty sweet, with a very faint hop presence somewhere way in the back. All around a pretty good beer, but I’m assuming something is not going right on the bottling line. ryan (1781), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Bottle from Chevy Chase Liquors. Hazy amber body that shows little carbonation when poured resulting in a tiny white head. Lightly sweet nose with apple juice, very light herbal/grassy hops and a touch of corn starch. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter with light lemon, some grassy hops, honey, hay and dough. Medium body is soft with very light carbonation. Not what I picture when I think of Kellerbier. I hope this was just an old bottle (though other ratings are similar). I’m cutting it a bit of slack on the rating just to be safe. Yummy traditional lager. Subtle superb qualities sneak upon you. One of those brews that grown on you as you drink. At the end you will be in love with it.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 500ml bottle. Pours hazy light honey amber with close to no head. Nose of old red apples, slightly moldly and dank, with some toasted corn, toasted barley, and a light sweet honeycrisp apple note. Texture is bright, vivid, juice-like, but fresher than it smells, with more of a grassy, dry hop presence, amplified in the finish. Dry and pasty aftertaste reminds me of some English bitters. I think my bottle is a little old, but it’s still quite good. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 12, 2008 Pours a clear copper with basically no head. Mild, clean nose. Very smooth flavor profile that carries a back tone that is sweet in nature that eventually kicks it up a bit and blows up in the mouth. Nice leaft edge. Nothing crazy, but smooth. Feel is smooth with a consistent carbonation and the liquid is good as well. Very easy to drink. Could go on this all night with no problem.
