Commercial Description:

Pours a bright orange-amber color, with significant haze and almost no head. Haze is appropriate for a keller bier, as is the very low carbonation. Aroma is bready, slightly yeasty, with some significant hops character backing it all up. Yeasty/breadiness is spot-on for kellerbier style. Am I in Franconia? Flavor is more spot-on for a kellerbier too, with some significant malty sweetness (munich malt?), breadiness and a touch of of yeasty character. Hops are apparent throughout, and even dominate in some areas, but never take over. Body is on the low side of medium, but definitely medium. Finish is sweet malt with a good balance of hops as well. This is a great session beer, in the Franconian style. It has some of the yeasty characters and very low carbonation expected from a unfiltered kellerbeir lager like you will find in any village in Franconia, Germany. This is even a bottle conditioned beer.

Pours dark golden with a fully receding off-white head. Aroma of herbal Hallertau, bready lager yeast. Taste is sweet bready malt, munich malt, crackers, and toasted malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft carbonation. Very nice quaffable lager, just wish it had a bit more carbonation.

Bright orangey-amber colour. Beautifully toasty nose with herbal accents. Light hop - earth note. Very fresh grain character. Probably too much carbo and not enough bitterness for my kellerbier liking but a good brew.

Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Light amber weak rocky top. Yeast sediment found at bottom .
Nose :Hoppy , citric with fresh hay like aromas. Refreshing farm like harvest feel, light spiciness at finish.7-
Flavor/Palate : Quiet soft, quality malt sitting up front/ Gently, satisfying character. Silky with distinctive soft hop bittering. Yummy traditional lager. Subtle superb qualities sneak upon you. One of those brews that grown on you as you drink. At the end you will be in love with it.

Aroma is spicy, fruity, malty and nutty, copper, pours a slim off-white head. Flavour has fine, quality malt. seems spicy, like a coriander/ginger influence, apples, pit fruit, woody and nutty. Medium bodied, very well balanced, complex, quite dry, and as I consume more, it gets drier. A delicious "vicious circle." Fantastic!

Draft at the Blind Tiger. Not very carbonated, but smooth and drinkable. Hard time describing it, breadiness maybe?

Taste7/8. Looks: Deep hazy amber, specks of white rim the glass. Aroma: Smells of grain, caramel, light hop brightness. Mild yeast and earthy must. Taste: Light to medium body with a nice malt and hop blend. The flavors are blended to a single taste, rather than 1,2,3 across the palate. Straw, molasses(not mole asses),earthy. Has a long full finish, with a spicy bite.

Draft, Rustico. Another surprise beer on tap at this place in Alexandria, VA. Pours a hazy, orange-amber color; khaki head that soon disappears. Plenty of juicy oranges and minerals in the aroma; dripping tree fruit. Slightly medicinal fruit character in the mouth; medium mouthfeel; chewy oranges, tons of minerals and bready malts; very drinkable; nice finish: dry, showing minerals and citrus. Pleasant beer.
