| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 25, 2007 Bottle. Gold, moderate fluffy white head and gentle condition. Gentle hoppy almost soapy nose with some trace maltiness, quite tinny and metallic in the mouth with more soapy hops, bitter hop and fruity malt in the finish.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 17, 2007 Clear golden body with a big beaded white head. Aroma doesn’t grab me much at all, sulphur pong hung around for a while with some soapy malty notes afterwards. Thin body, not big flavours, good carbonation, a little watery and mainly grainy notes. Germans make good beers - generally. ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Honestly the first Diät-Pilsner I’ve tried. Haven’t missed much, the fact it is intended for persons with diabetes is a good thing but leaves everyone else scratching their head at the lack of pizazz flavour-wise. From the bottle into a flute glass. A soapy white lather managed to form after a vigorous pour - a wafer thin, drabby mess - atop its tight, finely carbonated, bright, medium gold body. Wisps of fluffy grains on the nose like puffed wheat and barley. Sadly, edges of boiled cabbage water and wet cat ail it and can’t be ignored, tainting it for the length as it was stretched for taste. Thin, crisp and dry is the palate. Light showing of grains mid to late seems pasty in feel. Slight herbal tang late also, not much bitterness to save it. Clean, crisp swallow, subtle dustiness in the afterglow. That’s pretty much it. Clean tasting over attenuated lager, quite off on the nose. Bland overall!!! (33cL, 10/10/07, The Beer Store Morley) HenrikSoegaard (4342), Randers, Denmark

Light bitter flavor and short bitter finish. Watery palate. Just ok beer. FrankJohansen (3369), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Nov 8, 2006 Yellow beer with a head that collapses fast. Simply malty and hoppy aroma. herbal flavour, all but pleasant, and a bad acidic finish. Not good, but one of the better choices (!) if you are on a diet. | 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 10, 2006 Slight hops flavor, a little grassy, but overall, very plain, but for a Diät bier, its ok enough. Not worth seeking out, unless I had to, ie, what the purpose of Diät biers are for.
