Bottle. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spar lacework. Clear sparkling body with a light yellow color. Aroma of hay, grain, caramel and hint of citrus and yeast. Light bodied with a thin texture and average carbonation. Flavor was light sweet with hint of bitter and acidic notes. Light dry and bitter finish.

Bottle. I was a little dissapointed, but i guess i shouldn’t be. I quite like their wheat beers and i guess i was expecting this to be quite a tasty, bitter german pils. This was quite thin however, and lightly sweet and acidic, with some metallic egdes.

This was on tap in my hotel in Bayreuth. Came in Maisels Pilsner glass. Very clear and a light yellow, with a medium head that left nice lacing. Distinct hop odor with a hint of citrus. Clean mouthfeel, and good to the last drop. This one held up well against all the other German Pilsners I tried.

(bottle, three weeks past BB-date) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a small creamy white foam. Light sweet malty and bready, slightly citrusy aroma with herbal hops. Bitterish flavour, light to medium body, medium carbonation. Malty, slightly bready taste, also a bit yeasty with the right dose of hops; dryish bitter hoppy finish.
