Apr 2, 2005 Updated: Oct 4, 2005I’ll always find the hefeweizens to be more flavorful but, for a kristalweizen, this is pretty darned decent. Towering white head on a lively golden body, this has an aroma predominantly of bananas, grasses, and perhaps some clove. Soft in the mouth, the flavor is bananas with a lemon twist. Clean finish. Dec 10, 2004 500 ml bottle from truck stop in Germany: Poured a light clear yellow with a thick white head. Light lemon and banana aroma. The same for the flavor. Pretty tasty stuff.

Nov 23, 2004 Tight white head on golden body. spicy aroma with a little sweetness. Quite lemony with a small amount of corriander. A little watery and light in taste but what flavour there is is ok.

Nov 19, 2004 Very clear, big head settles with OK retention.
Smells pretty good - lots of vanilla and spiciness. No clove, banana or bubble gum though.
Clean flavour but quite thick and sweet which gets tough after a while. Slight tartness is there but isn’t enough to balance out the sweetness. Some stewed fruit. A bit sickly. Seems like they filtered out all the good stuff.

Oct 29, 2004 Clear golden colour with big white head. Aroma has a lot of banana and bubblegum. Flavor is also dominated by the sweetness from banana, there is also some butter in the taste. Palate is nice and thick.

Sep 25, 2004 Updated: Apr 18, 2008Bottle - a forward banana aroma for a Kristall. Perfect Kristall appearance - dark yellow and clear. Flavor clean and crisp wheat malt (high carbonation) with only a slight banana flavor. Probably the best one that is widely available.
