Sep 5, 2008 An exceptionally clean and clear Kristall with an abundance of flavors and an beautiful aroma. I love the appearance of this weiss beer! This beer is perfect to drink on a snady beach in front of a warm campfire.

Dec 31, 2003 Crystal clear light golden colour with a perfectly dense white head. Aroma of bananas, cloves, wheat and a bit of coriander seed. Medium-bodied; Sweet flavour of bananas, wheat and some light pepper/clove spiceyness. Bubble gum is noticeable in the aftertaste. Overall, a nice 'authentic' kristall, great to try! I sampled this 50 cL bottle from the Brickskellar in Washington, D.C. on 26-December-2003.

Sep 25, 2004 Updated: Apr 18, 2008Bottle - a forward banana aroma for a Kristall. Perfect Kristall appearance - dark yellow and clear. Flavor clean and crisp wheat malt (high carbonation) with only a slight banana flavor. Probably the best one that is widely available.

Feb 6, 2009 Pours a pale golden colour with a tight bright white frothy head, which it holds down the glass.
Light aroma of the malt and yeast witha very faint banana aroma.
Not overly carbonated this is a very cleansing beer. The flavours are there but are subtle and I really like that. A creamy beer with just the right amount of body.

Sep 19, 2002 Crystal (how about that?) clear golden straw. Fat, sticky alabaster froth. Thrusting carbonation. Heavy wheat aroma, spicy hops and well water minerals. Crisp, tart and dry with a celery (or some other spicy root vegetable) spiciness. Very fresh water. Mild hint of clove and lemon. Sharp, tingly and refreshing. Light bodied. Sound bitterness with apparent hop pizzazz. Lingering Weizen flavors. Finishes fuller, softer and nicely flavored. A Kristall "mit hoden".

Jun 29, 2004 I was quite impressed with this one. Has a clean, light amber look to it, and flavor not too unlike the hefeweizen they make, except the feel & finish is more ale-like.

Sep 23, 2002 Looks and smells great in the snifter. Aroma boasts apricot, clove, mild hint of banana, pepper, dough, iron (almost lambicesque), and serious Chardonnay quaities. Nice on the tongue; light and green apple texture with medium body and fuzzy carbonation. Very vinous, lightly acidic, mild coconut presence, and a soft pleasant caramel finish.
