Bottle, nice spicy aroma, cloves citrus and slight banana, great thick lasting head. Nice distinct cereal notes, some clove and finishes nice and dry. Nice palate not too heavy but not watery either.

Quite enjoyed it. Haven’t had weisse for quite a while and this was quite welcome in a night of strong blondes. Might not be a classic taste for this style but that isn’t something that would bother me. Yeasty (that a word?) and fruity, not too shabby at all.

Bought for xmas eve ’07..Smells very old world, of banana, cloves, dust, and an old maid ... very dark in colour, of orange amber bread crust ... glides down the throat, but has a very strange aftertaste that weirds it all up.... lacing is like james stewart in a wonderful life... a pin point above average Hefe but the queer aftertaste kills the overall enjoyment of this beer, but it has its place...probably..

Bottle. Pours a beautiful, deep, cheddar yellow with a head of white that enjoys the party so much it stays ’til the end. Armoma is lemon gumball, with hints of banana. Flavor is predominantly clove, with bits of banana and bubblegum. Watery mouthfeel. Nice weizen; I’d drink it again.

The bottle looks good and the beer in the glass also. Fine dark colour. The flavour is much to dry for a hefeweizen, I was disappointed. Not a good beer.

Cloudy orange with a thin white head. The aroma is wheat oranges pear, apples, lemons and a hint of floral. The taste is citrusy wheat with a light body. the finish is slightly sweet. A very good summer beer. Enjoyed it very much.

Nice balanced weisse from this legendary brewery. Nice head the lasts as long as the beer is in the glass. Flavor is light banana and citrus.
