Goslar, Germany, in the Italian restaurant of the central square. Excellent weiss, bodyed and cooling.......................Goslar, Alemanha, no restaurante italiano da praça central. Excelente weiss, encorpada e refrescante.

Buona, rinfrescante e pure abbastanza originale per lo stile, mi ha fatto una gran bella impressione. Bevuta al Golden Lion a Brescia, la sera dopo che avevo tentato di prenderla da Paola ma non c’era.

[bottle] I don’t really like the aroma of this beer. Somehow the banana, bubblegum, clove, hops, malt, which are all present, combine to smell like that rotting leaves aroma that one experiences in the late fall/early spring. Appears brownish-orange and cloudy with yeast, plus a lasting white cover. Sort of boring flavour: weak clove, with a touch of banana bubblegum, plus mineral water. Some faint corriander and celery come in late. Moderate carbonation, a bit dry finish, light body.

On draft. Overall I was disappointed by Maisels Original. I really liked their Kristall and Dunkel - bags of flavors and a smooth finish. This seemed a bit prosaic and lackluster in comparison. Looks good in the glass, a deep translucent orange body, and fluffy white head, but there is no real depth of flavor here, and it had a slick, oily palate. The other two I had in Germany, this was poured in London, but I don’t see why that should make much of a difference. It was also served very cold. All in all an ok Weisse, but not as good as their other beers I’ve tried.

STBF07. Aroma has banana, hints of clove, grassyness and niceness apparently. Taste is grassy, hints of white bread, corrianced and clove, thinner than expected but also hoppier than expected. Great weisse.

Bottle. Rather cloudy orange color, nice lasting creamy white head. Nice malty bubblegum aroma, banana notes, other sweet fruits, wehat and some spices. Bubblegum flavor, rather malty, maybe some vanilla and toffee. Fruity from pear, banana, apricot and citric notes. Wheat finish with some more fruits. Very refreshing.

Edinburgh beer festical 2007 ... Clowdy orange ... bublegum wheat ... light fruity smooth bubblegummy ... a very good example .

Bottle. Nice white fluffy head. Slightly darker than most weissbier. Reminds me of orange juice. Sweet bubble gum aroma and flavor. A very refreshing beer.
