Excellent hefe, although not quite as good as Weihenstephaner. Light, fruity aroma. Runs toward a nutty or grainy flavor. Only slight clove flavor. A bit more effervescence than necessary. Leaves a tangy aftertaste.

Draft @ John Bull Pub, Aalborg. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Sweetish yeast aroma with coriander. Flavour is sweetish with yeast and coriander as well, and with notes of banana and plastic; the latter diminishing as it warms. Tart wheat finish. Decent but nothing special. 05-12-09.

0.5 bottle. Hazy orange/amber colour, rocky white head, average carbonation. Fruity smell. Mild, fruity, lil’ bit watery taste and body. Aroma’s like banana/citrus and yeast (Spreading softly in the mouth). Mild bittersour finish. Good drinkable Hw.

This Weisse from Maisel’s is just what a weissbier should be like: marigold in color, banana on the front of the palate, clove-finish, with a semi-sweet bouquet at the head. Beautifully balanced with a semi-sweet hoppiness.

500 ml bottle. Dark yellow color. This one is a bit more sweet than other weissbiers which makes it more drinkable. That is why i prefer others when it comes to hefeweizen. Still it is enjoyable and pretty satisfying.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a good looking large white head. Banana in both aroma and flavor, also some yeast. A nice and drinkable hefeweizen.

On tap. Hazy golden colored body with a thick cream head. Banana and peach in the smell and taste. Very smooth and refreshing. Nice and wheaty in the flavor with a good hop balance. Great lacing.
