Commercial Description:
In a country with beers named after the Devil, or called "Sudden Death", one called "Misfortune" (Malheur, in French) is just another wry jest. The beer itself is no joke. On the contrary, it is an inspired beer. Malheur is made in a new, revivalist, brewery.

Bottle: Pours hazy and pale orange with a medium sized white head. Nose of yeast, spices, orange and notes of apricot. The flavour is rather sweet with hops and coreander and some fruit. Medium bodied. Slightly bitter finish.

A good "session" Belgian pale. Pale hazy gold, good firm head, good lacing. Nose of citrus, yeast, bread. Taste of citrus and yeast with a spicy finish.

330ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsinki)<br /> Pale cloudy orange, healthy tight head. Big tomatoes and then honey aroma. A touch perfumey. Very simply sweet plain light malty body. Quite dull, actually. Nothing actually wrong with it, but no guts, no highlights, no bite. I want more of a crisp hop component to my blondes.

A little hazy yellow colored beer, with a big white foamy head. The aroma of sweet malts, fruits like orange and citrus and some hop in the back. The taste is fruity fresh, citrus, a little thin but a nice mouth feeling. The aftertaste is lite bitter.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow/orange colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, perfume, poo. Flavour is strong, perfume, hops, dirty yeast, some fruits. Flavours seemed a bit off.
