| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice golden color with a ton of white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with a hint of fruit mixed in for good measure. Taste is much of the same but the alcohol takes over a bit. Its just strong enough to be detrimental to what could be an excellent beer. Though this beer is no slouch it could be a bit better if the alcohol were tamed down a bit. I think I might have to try aging a bottle to see if that helps. OldMrCrow (1187), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a nice gold, fluffy head, plenty of floating matter. Nice spicy belgian yeast aroma, dry, orange zest, a drop of honey. Lovely tripel-style taste, lots of honey flavor but not overpowering sweetness by any sense of the imagination, turning to a nice hop-driven close. Plenty of that spicy yeast, the beer is another herb-garden-in-summer delight, honeybees buzzing around, sunshine beating down, full but not sticky on the tongue, very little sign of the 10% alcohol.
I’m quite positively impressed. This one surpassed expectations by a nice margin. WeeHeavySD (2961), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

One hell of a day put on by Cquiroga, thanks for a killer day Chris. Also spent the day there with bikesanbeer, my girlfriend Cyn, wetherel, JohnC, DenverLogan, dirty_martini, jasparg, DrBil, IPAFiend, awaisanen and many others, this was one crazy day. This was a 2000 Vintage 750 and it had aged incredibly well. Pours gold with a nice amount of sediment. Nose is sweet and strange and good though I can’t put my finger on what about it. Nose is strong and sweet and really overall tasty. bitbucket (2031), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Sweet spices, yeast and light fruit. Pour was a nice light gold with a 2 finger white head. Taste was delicious. Light fruit and heavy spices with grass and a yeasty aftertaste. Hides alcohol perfectly. I would have guessed this was 7%. Nice one. ratman197 (3187), Arvada, Colorado, USA
