Golden color with a nice fluffy head of white cream. The aroma is pretty mild, sweet, creamy, spicy, yeast. Attractive but mild. The flavor is smooth, well-blended, toasty and spicy. Pretty nice, easy drinking ale of Belgian character. Incredibly easy to drink for a 10% Belgian. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Golden with a white fluffy head that sits around forever. Like the 6, the aroma is pretty sweet, but with more emphasis on the citrus/spice/yeast rather than the peachiness (which is still there in a little way). Smooth flavour, full but easy body. Flavours kink of follow the rindy citrus and light toasty sweetness from the aroma, a bit of alcohol runs through as the finish nears, which it should at 10%. The finish otherwise is a bit sweet and peppery. Really well made and dangerously smooth, like a good belgian. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

Malty flavor with yeast, lemon/slight orange, and a bit of spice. Medium-plus body with a bit of creaminess. Slight alcohol presence. Lingering orange, yeast, dust. Decent complexity. The aroma is complex and melded with age. I get tartness, lemon, hay and yeast. Wow, yep, a wow type flavor. Lots of blended fruitiness from dark fruit and berries mixed with muted banana and mild hidden away lemon. It ends up somewhat sugary and slightly dusty. Very nice. jobyone (234), Charlotte, USA
