Pour is cloudy golden with a wonderful fruity earthy aroma. Taste is really nice, very spicy Saison flavor with a nice big alcohol profile. I had no idea this was 10% when I was drinking it, oh my goodness, so smooth. Thanks again Michael, you are a great Ratebeerian. MesandSim (5818), London, Greater London, England

Bottled. Gold colour with a thin white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and alcohol. Spicy alcohol flavour that is fairly straight forward. Light honey notes. Not particularly refined. So so. Pours a hazy orange hue with an large creamy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Good sour citrus yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium well balanced spicy flavor with a good sweet finish of moderate duration. Good soft drinkable beer. KAggie97 (2425), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Corked bottle. Pours luscious and vivid cheddar orange, with nice carbonation, active yeast sediment, and a beautiful crowning head of white that leaves a beautiful latticework of lacing around the glass. Aroma is mixture of coriander and orange that leaves a zesty zing along the olfactory path. Nice raisin/honey blend initially on the tongue, followed by a faint floral hops note. Touches of yeast tingle the taste buds. Full, slimy mouthfeel that leaves a lingering note of sourness on the tongue. Definite repeat.
